This July 4th message first appeared in the Christian Post on July 4th of 2023. Glory! July 4th is also my 68th birthday! My daddy always said I was a firecracker and not a dud! Ha!

Today, Americans are celebrating Independence Day, a date known for being when the English colonies of North America declared their independence from the British Empire.

The occasion is often celebrated with parades, fireworks, performances of the “1812 Overture” by Tchaikovsky, barbecue and business sales, among other things.
