Forgiveness… A Key To Freedom
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. It’s raining quite hard this morning as I fold the blueberries in my pancake mix. I glance out the window as the rain washes my car and shines it up for the day. I pray this morning and dedicate the day to God and ponder what it will bring. The rain seems refreshing, and I am thankful for God’s touch on our lives.
Whenever I make blueberry pancakes, I can’t help but think of forgiveness. Actually, that is the title of one of my devotionals to be published.
We all need forgiveness and Christ gave it to us just for asking. Some folks that may have hurt us intentional or not, we need to forgive. Forgiveness is more for us. It will set us free. We all have people in our lives we need to forgive. Are you ready to stir in forgiveness this morning for your best day, best year yet? Are you ready to let God rain down on you today as you receive his forgiveness?
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for forgiveness of all our sins. Nothing can separate us from your love. Father, thank you for the grace to forgive the words and actions from others that have caused us pain.
Father, thank you today we can choose to forgive the people that brought the hurt. Ephesians 4:32 tells us to be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave us.
Father, we start our morning on July 6, 2024, with a clean slate. We are forgiven and therefore we offer forgiveness to others. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Forgiveness is pouring down all across this globe today. Receive it and give it away. It doesn’t make what’s been done right, but it frees you. God wants you free.
And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins. Mark 11:25
Whom the Son sets free is free indeed. (John 8:36)
