We are most definitely living in uncertain times, things can be scary and downright hard at times. I know that trusting God is not always as easy as it sounds.

Especially when you’re in the midst of the problem, when it’s right in your face and you can’t seem to see your way through it.

I know, because I’ve actually been there many times. I’ve been there with my health,  finances and many other issues.

We are certainly living in tumultuous times

However, it is circumstances like this that remind us that we need to lean on God.

You see, God does not want us to be led by fear, but rather be led by faith. For one, our future and our provision and wellbeing are things He provides for us.

He desires to work everything for good for those who love him and are called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)

Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him.

Isaiah 64:4

For every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills.

Psalm 50:10

Our Father owns the cattle on a thousand hills. That’s great news. He has all the power and resources and he gives generously.

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:19

For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, ‘Do not fear; I will help you.

Isaiah 41:13

We get bombarded with so much bad news, peoples crazy opinions about the bad news, and the hate that accompanies it. All this does is add to our fears and anxiety.

So, how do we refrain from this rollercoaster of emotions of fear, doubt and unbelief?

The First thing we must do is to grow in our faith, then to believe Gods promises. We must also turn our worries over to God. This is a must.

Scripture tells us that faith without works is dead, so we need to start working toward that faith. That comes from the knowledge in Christ.

Knowing him, seeking his face, memorizing his word and of course, studying it, is one way to work towards it.

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews 12:2

Since the beginning of time, Gods been here. He’s been here and he’s never leaving. Not even for a moment.

Stay strong, the race is almost over!

Many Blessings,

Connie
