One of the most telling and helpless commits of defeat in life begins like this: “If only I could find . . .”
In our world today, as we live it, we have achieved copious technological advancements while failing in things of greater value. We have men and women in the sciences, skills and arts, who believe their advances in knowledge are of greater value that pursuing a greater knowledge of God, if He exists at all. While discovering the minutest element of man and matter, we have rejected the One Who designed and created all matter and every man. While pursuing and producing limitless quantities of self-help books and materials, we have ignored the one greatest manual ever written on how to live rightly while living joy filled, the Holy Bible. People display the highest degrees from the highest institutes of learning, while not having one degree of morality to display in their character. Jesus provided a way of living in His peace and yet we are nations more comfortable with the destitutes of war. We uncover scientific ways to live longer, and yet we still are ignorant of living rightly and eternally. In all our doing, learning, and getting we are still missing God; the easiest to find. Afterall, He is in every direction you look or gaze; being as close as your next breath. “Be still and know that I Am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalm 46:10)
