As the South Fork and Salt fires continue to be managed by dedicated firefighting crews, the Ruidoso area experienced significant challenges on Saturday due to scattered thunderstorms resulting in severe flash flooding. These conditions are expected to persist, posing ongoing threats across the fire areas.

Our continued prayers for the people in the Ruidoso, New Mexico area. We prayed over this very tragic situation yesterday at FBC in Glenwood, NM. We also continue to pray for all the flood victims in the Midwest. It is a very, very tough time for many folks. We must pray for them. We are so very thankful for all the First responders and also we are thankful that the New Mexico National Guard is helping!
