Expecting A Good Day?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy Thursday! Days go by fast, months are flying by, and before our very eyes the leaves will begin to change, and summer will be behind us. Already the mornings are a little chillier here in Maine and we have the morning dew.
I have seen the word expectation a lot lately and I hear the words around me of great expectation. Some scriptures that come to mind this morning remind me that God is able to bless us abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that we need, we will abound in every good work. (2 Corinthians 9:8). Sounds good doesn’t it?
Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (Hebrews 11:6) I am a seeker. How about you? Psalm 62:5 tells us to wait thou only upon God; for our expectation is from him. We can have a good day as we know all of our days are in his hands.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you that you are God, and we commit our day to you. We can expect it to be a good day because we walk with the highest authority in heaven and on earth.
Father, today we choose to raise our level of expectation. Your Word tells us that you will bless the work of our hands. (Deut. 28:12) We thank you for that. You are the Father of the World and we are blessed to walk every day with you. Amen.
