Finding The Sparkle In Your Day…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Thank goodness every day is a new beginning. Yesterday, was anything but glamourous for me, but it was still the day the Lord had made, and I was determined to rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24) I am sure it was a great day for many of you.

I was thinking this morning of the sparkly boots my granddaughter chose to add to her back-to-school apparel. I love sparkles, I love glitter, but I hadn’t seen anything like these boots before. Her eyes lit up when she found them at one of her grandma’s favorite stores. The delight in her eyes was a sight to behold when she slipped her foot in, and they were the perfect size. I bet she would say it was a perfect day.

Not every day is easy, and we may need to look close to find the sparkle in the day. Life happens and we all go through things. It’s all in how we choose to respond. He tells us to praise him in all things and that’s just what we are going to do, right? I am going to look for the sparkle in my day and I am going to find it. How about you?

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you for another day to praise you. Thank you that you know the number of breaths we take and the number of hairs on our head. You keep your covenant promises to us, and we can walk confidently every day knowing you are Emmanuel, God with us.

Father, no matter what the day brings, help us to appreciate the gift, the gem of another day. Father, give us eyes to see the sparkle in our day. Help us oh God to bring the sparkle to someone that needs it. Romans 12:6-8 tells us that we have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If our gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with our faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

Father, we commit this day to you. Lead us by the power of your Holy Spirit and show us great and mighty things. Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. (2 Corinthians 9:8)
