For the Glory of God

FGGAM 12 Year Celebration

Romans 12:9-16 NKJV

[9] Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. [10] Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; [11] not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; [12] rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; [13] distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality. [14] Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. [15] Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. [16] Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.

It is an amazing thing to walk in the will of God. But it is not as easy as people may think.

It takes courage. It takes endurance. It takes trust and faith. It takes patience on our part. It takes a denial of self. It takes a passion to honor God above all things before all things! It takes dedication and desire.

The Lord provides. He will provide in ways that we will never see or ever understand when we walk in the direction He points us to.

When we truly deny ourselves and pick up our Cross as Jesus Christ has instructed, no man or plan from the enemy can stop it. Even in our own minds and thoughts where it may seem impossible, the Lord makes it not just possible but reality.

For God’s Glory Alone!

Seeking to give God Glory and God alone is such a remarkable way to honor the Lord! But it takes a deep desire. A desire that starts from a calling from the voice of God, a prompting from the Holy Spirit to do something for the Kingdom and its people!

Many seek recognition, fame and notoriety. The desire may be there but the motive is wrong. The Great Commission isn’t about promotion of self. In fact, it is the opposite. It is putting the Lord first. It’s putting the Kingdom first. It’s showing the love and compassion for lost, hurting hearts to bring them to an Eternal love and hope!

Taking nothing for self. Freely and willingly giving and showing the Love, Mercy and compassion of a loving Savior!

This is what all professing people of Jesus Christ are to do. We are called to go into all the world professing the Kingdom of God. We are called to make Disciples.

We have a High calling. Some don’t take this command to heart. Some see it as a suggestion. Some ignore it all together.

Pastor Dewey is a man with a heart filled with nothing more than to tell people about the saving Grace of Jesus. It is not only his passion but his calling.

Twelve (12) years ago reality set in the soul of this man of God. As a chapter was closing the Lord was opening a new one!

There is this unknown certainty about what God has next for us. Sometimes we don’t like the uncertainty. We are creatures of habit and comfort. So, when the reality of change comes to us there are hard decisions that have to be made. There must be a heart to serve the Lord. There must be the willingness to go to the ends of the earth no matter the cost!

As long as one heart can see that Salvation is near. That’s the reward on this earth for those willing to profess!

There’s a denial that has to take place. Jesus says to deny yourself. To deny yourself means that you are willing. No matter what the cost may be, you are willing.

When the nay-sayers come, you are willing. When evil and hardships come, you are willing. No matter what Jesus asks you, are willing to deny yourself of comforts to sacrifice for the building of the Kingdom, and to do the will of the Father?

That’s denial of self. That is the heart and mindset one must have to accomplish the will of God for their life! It is to say with all joy in your heart that you understand the requirements to follow the narrow path. You understand what the consequences may be, but you also know that in your heart of hearts, the promises waiting for you are certain. No man; no system; nothing in this world can take that away.

FOR GOD’S GLORY ALONE!

It all really comes down to one thing, desire. The desire to honor God. The desire to bring people to The Cross. The desire to strengthen weak faith, giving hope to the hopeless through the lens of God’s Holy Word!

FGGAM, its founders and all involved, have the desire for one thing, “to encourage the body of Christ and to make a difference in a hurting world.”

This ministry is all done in truth and love! It is love without hypocrisy, clinging to what is true, filtered through the Holy Scriptures.

We all search for the truth, especially in a time when things change so fast. If the truth is not being filtered through the truth of the Gospels can we really call it truth?

People need hope. People need to be built up to endure another day. FGGAM and Pastor Dewey do just that. From unbiased news to daily prayer and encouragement, FGGAM always provides tenderness, love and truth! There is dedication to serve the Lord. There is the preaching of God’s Word. There is teaching and commentary of the current events happening around our community, country and world.

I have been given the honor and been blessed to be able to contribute to this online ministry. It has, for me, changed my perspective on many issues. It has taught and guided me what it truly means to have a Biblical Worldview!

We all need to be refreshed and renewed in the Word of God. We all need to know and understand what’s going on in this world. FGGAM and Pastor Dewey through the power of the Holy Spirit do just that. They live up to their statement of Faith:

“We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old Testament and New Testament are the inerrant, inspired, and infallible Word of God. God’s Word is the final authority for faith and life. We believe there is only one God, and He has chosen to reveal Himself as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.”

I know this to all be true because Dewey is one of my best friends. He has been my mentor, but most importantly, my brother! I’ve sat with him for many hours just trying to glean any wisdom he has. He and FGGAM have helped shape and mold my own personal life and the ministry with which the Lord has entrusted me. I’m forever grateful for Dewey’s obedience to honor God!

We never fully know what impact we have in someone else’s life. We sow the seeds of hope. We show the love of Jesus. Then we pray that the Holy Spirit comes and softens hearts and changes minds to Repent and believe in the Gospels of Jesus Christ.

In the first year of FGGAM, this website reached and touched 4.8 million people! I would love to see the total over 12 years!

Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.

When we are led by God for the Glory of God all things work out for the greater Good for the Kingdom of God!

Thank you Pastor Dewey Moede and thank you For God’s Glory Alone Ministries!

May our Father in Heaven through our Lord Jesus Christ by the Power of the Holy Spirit continue to use you to touch the hearts of the hopeless, and use you to strengthen the weak and to prepare the next to be sent out to continue the work of the Lord! May the Lord’s Hand always be what directs you. May the Holy Spirt bring you discernment, knowledge and understanding, not to boast but to be used for the furthering of the Kingdom.

May it all go For God’s Glory Alone!

In the Holy Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth we pray!

Amen!

Pastor Ed
