Lights, Camera, Action…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. As I sit to write this morning my mind goes back to a package I received. I believe it was in the year 2015 a woman from New York, an acquaintance through a friend sent me a package decorated with big lights. She said to me, I see your name in lights. The humble servant of the Lord from New York encouraging the dreams I was carrying inside of me.
This morning, I try to be techy to capture my second book, Secret Shame as it is being advertised on the billboard (in the lights) of New York, City. The power of encouragement, the power of inspiration, the power of words. Our conversations came ringing back in my mind this morning as I try to remember what was in the package she had mailed. I was a friend of a friend, but she was a friend that heard the voice of God.
Today, be an encourager because you can. Be good to all people(s) because you can. Today, we all have the power to make the world a better place. Whether our name is ever in lights or not, our name being written down in the book of life is the most important.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for your healing and the dreams you place inside of each of us. Today for me personally is fulfillment of what you spoke to me through a friend of a friend. Today people all around the world have unfulfilled dreams that I would like to pay it forward by praying for them.
Father, we join faith all across this globe today for people’s dreams. May they come alive once again today.
Father, we pray hope into the lives of people losing it today. Encounter them God, because you can. We pray you use each of us to make life better for someone today, because we can.
Father, draw people to yourself we pray. Amen.
