Recognizing a counterfeit.

For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

Matthew 24:24

Unfortunately, there are lots of so-called “believers” and I use that term lightly, that go around preaching nonsense, teaching nonsense, acting crazy and  promoting nonsense.

They do not preach the full gospel of Jesus, alone crucified. Those are false prophets, and it’s up to us to know the truth.

But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse! 👈🏼( it was repeated twice, that means really listen up)

Galatians 1:8-9

We will only know the truth if we seek the truth, (which Jesus is the truth), and want the truth.

We will know the truth by being in his word, in constant communion with him, in constant prayer, then and only then, will you recognize the counterfeit.

If you habitually neglect the word of God, you will fall prey to the lying spirit, and ultimately that’s on you. When you stand before the Lord, and we all will,  you will answer for what you did and what you said and you can’t start blaming everybody else.

It is written: “’As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.”

Romans 14:11

Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.

James 4:17

Are those false deceivers who spread lies going to be in trouble for spreading lies? Absolutely! Especially when children are involved. All children, from conception on!

Please, seek the truth for yourself, know Him and know Him well! Eternity is too long. Drop your pride and run to Christ.

Pride is a subtle and sneaky killer. It steals everything if allowed.  It is so sneaky that we don’t see it or know that it’s there.

Pride goes before destruction, and haughtiness before a fall. It is better to live humbly with the poor than to share plunder with the proud.

Proverbs 16:18-19

There are a lot of false prophets and teachers out there, and shame on them, but If we neglect to know the truth ourselves, that’s on us.

And remember, when things really get out of hand, it’s going to happen very fast. Scripture likens it to labor pains, once the labor pains get hard and fast, there’s no stopping it.

While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

1 Thessalonians 5:3

So remember,  if somebody has hurt you who was in the position of trust and in ministry of some sort, please do everything you can to forgive them and move on and seek God on your own accord.

God did not hurt you, man did. Don’t take it out on God! He loves you with all his heart and he’s waiting for you to return.

Many Blessing’s,

Connie
