Troubling: Evangelicals make up smaller share of U.S. population than commonly thought

Report: Only a third of Evangelicals attend Evangelical churches. A uniform Biblical Worldview among Evangelicals has negative implications. Just 37% of Pastors in America have a Biblical Worldview. WAKE UP CHURCH! “Go and make disciples of all nations.” This command from Jesus in Matthew 28:19 — known as the Great Commission — is a centerpiece of the Christian faith.

Many Churches in America have forgotten to build bridges to folks who do not know JESUS! Too many love preaching to the choir! WAKE UP CHURCH! IT IS CALLED THE GREAT COMMISSION!

Here at FGGAM we have been reporting on the downward trend of Christianity in America for years. This failure is made up of many factors. Too many Pastors remain deaf to this news and keep doing the same thing. The lack of carrying out The Great Commission is the greatest failure of the America Church. As I told one of my friends this morning, many Churches have turned into ‘club houses’ building walls and not reaching out into the streets and byways.

This failure is right before your eyes….do you not see? Many Churches are now identified by their politics rather than their belief in JESUS. I know! We hear it and see it! Go out and hear from people! FGGAM is a Great Commission Ministry!

Evangelicals make up a far smaller share of the United States population than expected due to a misunderstanding of the term, a new research report states, finding that the lack of a uniform biblical worldview among Evangelicals has negative implications.

The Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University, led by longtime Evangelical pollster George Barna, released the fourth installment of its American Worldview Inventory 2024 last week.

The report, focusing on “The Limitations of Christian Evangelicalism in American Society,” concluded that “Evangelicals are far fewer in number than typically reported, often are far less biblical in their thinking than one might assume, and tend to vote in far fewer numbers than expected.” More Here
