Trust Him, You Have Not Been Forgotten…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I was thinking this morning about times in my life I thought God must have forgotten me. Have you ever felt that way? I would ponder all the things I could have done wrong that would made him distant. When God took a bit longer to answer my prayer than I anticipated, I would begin to look within once again. When God answered the prayer differently than what I expected, I began the search all over again. Until one day I heard him say, just trust me. I will work all things together for your good. (Romans 8:28) I can say today, he has been faithful.
Even on my best days, the days I almost get everything just right, I couldn’t earn his love. His free gift of mercy and grace and his heart full of love towards me took some time as we built trust from a Heavenly Father to his daughter. It was different from the religion I knew. Thank God he is all about relationship.
When you walk with God, you learn to trust him. His record is flawless. His timing is perfect, and he never forgets what he promised. Amen?
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for your faithfulness. Psalms 13:5-6 tells us to trust in your unfailing love; and our heart will rejoice in our salvation. We will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to us. Thank you for your goodness, we receive it every day.
Father, for everyone today that may be believing the lie that they have been forgotten, remind them by your Holy Spirit to trust you. Trust that to everything there is a season in their lives. (Ecclesiastes 3:1) Trust that you love them with an everlasting love. (Jeremiah 31:3)
Father, grant us all the grace to trust you more. Amen.
