Update Friday at 1:49pm: Rodney Byam’s daughter Kelli reports that Rod came through Quadruple bypass surgery successfully. PRAISE GOD!
Update Thursday at 11:51am: Rod will be undergoing triple bypass surgery Friday at 6:30am! Rod and family thank you for your prayers!
UPDATE Thursday morning, 8/8/24: Rod may have surgery due to a blockage in his heart. Please pray. I will keep you posted!

I just got off the phone with Rod Byam. Rod and I both grew up in Windom, Minnesota. Rod and Deb now live on a farm outside of Lakefield, Minnesota. I was able to talk to Rod today on the phone for a bit and pray with him! PRAISE GOD! He is doing better and he thanks you for your prayers! I want to thank Rod and Deb’s daughter Kelli for keeping me posted! We are preying that Rod will soon be released from the hospital.
Rod helped FGGAM hold our revival’s back in Windom. He is a best friend! My dad Wally, and his dad Corky were good friends. They served on the Fire Department together and dad bought tires from Corky’s tire store for the school buses.
Rod served Windom as a police officer, firefighter and EMT. Thank you Rod for all you have done to serve the people of God! Rod also was active with the Red Cross for years! He is also an awesome photographer! I cannot forget that Rod served on the Windom City Council. WHAT A SERVANT! WHAT A ROLE MODEL!
Oh Lord we pray for continued healing of Rod. We pray for peace and comfort for Rod and Deb and the entire family. Lord, we thank you for such a man! Rod is a blessing to thousands in his service to your Kingdom, he is a role model for us all! Thank you Lord for watching over Rod and Deb, in your precious name we pray, Amen!
