The following message is written by one of my heroes of faith, Gorden Eden, who served our country as a United States Marshal and as Police Chief in Albuquerque. His precious wife, Mary, served as Former Sr. Vice President of Government Programs at Presbyterian Healthcare Systems.
The Edens will always be remembered for their godly service to all people. Gorden and Mary are such precious examples to us all on how to apply God’s word to our lives.

As we all look forward to a new day, l have to remind myself that change will bring more than we might expect. Some days come with unexpected possibilities, new opportunities to take stock of where we are and where we want to be.
Sometimes the opportunities present themselves in a positive way, filled with joy, excitement, and increased potential. Other times the opportunities come with unforeseen with sadness, confusion, anxiety or change.
Every day, the sun rises from the horizon. Every day, God is writing our stories as part of His larger story, positioning us where He needs us. His timing may catch us unexpectedly, but it is His timing, nevertheless.
He is calling you to trust His timing today!
