A Double Rainbow Of God’s Blessings Over The Pumpkin Patch…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Today after church I took two of my grandchildren to the children’s museum at the mall here in the Star City. We were inquiring of what it was all about and to make a plan for our next visit. Then off for ice-cream at our favorite Houlton Farm’s Dairy Bar, where those two silly kids tell me that dishes of dirt made of cookies, ice cream and gummy bears are the best in the world.

Then we were off to the pumpkin patch, where I saw a new sign on a road, I haven’t traveled much. The sign caught our attention once again and before we knew it, we were standing in the rain in the newly found pumpkin patch. There we met a very special young man. He treated us with such kindness, shook our hand and wished us a nice day. My grandson decided to trade his pumpkin at the last minute for a larger one. He couldn’t lift it, but he knew that was the perfect pumpkin for him.

We were blessed by the young man’s kindness to us and blessed him accordingly. I prayed a silent prayer of blessing over him and his pumpkin patch before we drove away. Then a double rainbow appeared before us, and we all were wowed as I spoke to the little ones once again about God’s blessings on our lives. Children are such a blessing from the Lord.

Let’s pray for all the little pumpkins (children) today:

Father, thank you for all the pumpkins. Your Word tells us you created our inmost being; you knit us together in our mother’s womb. We will praise you because we are fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, we know that full well. Our frame was not hidden from you when we was made in the secret place, when we was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw our unformed body; all the days ordained for us were written in your book before one of them came to be. (Psalm 139:13-16)

Father, every life is wanted. No life is ever a mistake, and you always have a plan for every one. It is a good plan, a beautiful plan. (Jeremiah 29:11) Father, thank you for watching over our pumpkins (children, grandchildren).

Father, may you bless them, and keep them; and may you shine your face upon them. May you be gracious to them; May your countenance be upon them, and they walk in your peace. Amen.

Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him. (Psalm 127:3)

Be blessed today beautiful people and bless a child. Because you can.
