Stepping Into The Healing Waters…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. What a beautiful day. It’s warm here today and we had church outside on this 35th Sunday morning, of our best year yet. It really was special. The praises went up before our God in an open field here in Aroostook County, Maine. I loved it. I loved being outside the four walls. Cars went by and gave a honk of their horn, and we prayed God would draw the people to himself. The pastor is a little spunky and you would never need to worry about falling asleep in one of his services indoor or out.
For several years I was part of a team that held Healing Waters Conferences during this Labor Day weekend. Every year, I would start with a vision God would give me for the theme. I would decorate the mirror my first mentor Julie gave me and build from there. I used that mirror as a vision board. Over the years we held some on-line conferences and meetings as well. There is something about the human touch, the laying on of hands.
I felt the Lord said it’s time, time to enlarge the vision. I purchased a mirror that is taller than I and I will begin to cast some new vision. I will need to find my step stool a friend had given me. This is a much bigger assignment, but I walk confidently with the one that wants his people whole. Amen? What are you willing to do for Jesus? Ask him for the vision, write it down and begin to bring people to his healing waters. This is not about us, but about him. He must increase, and we must decrease. He does the healing; he gets the glory. We are vessels for his power to flow through. You in?
Let’s Pray:
Father, we bring people all around this globe to the healing waters of Jesus Christ. There are people hurting all around us. We all have bought into the worlds lies at some point in life and got hurt. Draw people today that need your healing touch, oh God.
Father, thank you that the same healing waters are available to everyone. These waters freely flow, they never dry up and nothing can stop them from making your people whole. You are inviting your people to step in to the waters today. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. If you need healing, ask him today. We bring you to the healing waters. Step on in now, this is your time. Time to be made whole. He sent his Word and healeth thee. (Psalm 107:20)
