“Lord, have mercy” is a declaration of humility and an expression of need. It acknowledges that people are desperate for what only God can give. Our prayers are with all that are touched by this tragedy.
Why post a story like this? Because we need to be aware that our Pastors may be hurting and our children and friends may be also hurting and we do not know it. We mourn at the passing of Pastor David Baker Sr. Our hearts hurt. Suicide is a growing problem in America.

David Baker Sr. a Tennessee pastor and father of 11, who served as vice president of Independent Baptist Online College, walked into a local hospital Wednesday and fatally shot himself a day after he was charged with aggravated sexual battery of a minor family member.
A statement from the Columbia Police Department cited by FOX 17 in Nashville said Baker walked into a bathroom at Maury Regional Hospital shortly after bonding out of jail for aggravated sexual battery of a child younger than 12, and shot himself in the chest. More Here
