What Do You Have To Give Today?

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I have been thinking of my brother Eldon recently. He was a man with the biggest heart of anyone I ever known. I remember going with him to a Billy Graham crusade in Hartford, Ct. I remember going with him to different churches, etc. as he would speak the Word of God. As a child I would spend time with him and his family in the summer. Good memories. I often wondered how he did all he did. He moved so fast that even my head spinned, and I am a fast-moving person. He couldn’t stand to see anyone go hungry. It broke his heart, and it also broke his spirit. He often would tear up when talking about people without food. He carried the heart of our Father God. As I stood by his bed when he went on to his heavenly home, I prayed to pick up his mantle. He carried the mantle of a humanitarian.

I remember being with my sister as she went on to her heavenly home. She loved to write for children. She loved children. Maybe because she didn’t have any of her own. My three daughters, muffin, little babe, and bookum could do no wrong in her eyes. They were everything to her. I remember asking God that he would allow me to pick up her mantle of being a writer.

I never came from a family of wealth, but I came from a family of heart. Little did I know that family of heart was worth more than anything money could ever buy.

Today, let’s thank God for where we came from and where he will take us. Let’s thank him that we all are carriers of something. Let that be the heart of our Father. Amen? Amen.

Let’s Pray:

Father, may our heart reflect yours today. Tear down any stronghold of religion, man made rules, lies and everything else that was built up against the love of God our Father. Father may we have your heartbeat today.

Father, because you died and rose again, there is no power that can stop your love, your Word from going forth. Thank you for this awakening of your love to a hurting world. Thank you for rebuilding the ancient ruins in people’s lives. (Isaiah 61)

Father give us wisdom, give us the grace and strength for the day. Amen. Use us today to help another in need and may your spirit lead us today and every day. Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. He loves you. What do you have to give in his name today?

Truly I tell you, anyone who gives a cup of water in my name because you belong to the Messiah will certainly not lose their reward. Mark 9:31
