When Your Soul Needs Rest…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. It was great to have a long weekend to rest. It’s Wednesday already. I was thinking this morning sometimes our soul needs to rest. God tells us to come to him, all you who are weary and burdened, and he will give us rest. Take his yoke upon us and learn from him, for he is gentle and humble in heart, and it is in him, we will find rest for our souls. For his yoke is easy and his burden is light. (Matthew 11:28-30)
It’s nice to get away and rest. Rest is good for the physical body, it’s good for the mind, and it’s also good for the soul.
If you are feeling weary today, take some time (even just five minutes) in his presence and exchange your burdens for his peace and rest for your soul. It’s a great exchange. Amen?

Father, you tell us not to become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. (Galatians 6:9-10)
Father, thank you it is harvest time in the natural but also in the spiritual today for many across this globe.
Father, we pray rest for any weary souls today, that you will grant them the strength we read about in Deuteronomy 33:25. As thy days are so shall thy strength be.
Father, thank you for another day to journey life with you. Thank you for singing over us today. (Zephaniah 3:17) Amen.
