Over 12 years ago God called me out to form FGGAM with my beloved wife Sharon. We just had bought a new home, our mortgage was based on two incomes. BUT! God called me out! I fought fought the call for 6 months. Things that were normally easy for me at the radio station, became difficult to complete. I was not answering the call of GOD! I walked away from a huge pay check to nothing, BUT! WE HAVE GOD ALMIGHTY WHO CALLED ME OUT AND HERE WE ARE OVER 12 YEARS LATER! It is not easy, but it is godly! PTL!!! It is our calling. To many Christians are in a comfort zone. That includes some Pastors. That comfort zone is one reason the Church is losing its influence in America.  Just 4% of Americans have a Biblical Worldview, and just 37% of Pastors have a Biblical Worldview! My daddy always taught me when you are having problems, look in the mirror! He also would say ‘clean up your own backyard before you try to clean up someone else’s. Discussion Questions:

  • When you hear God’s call, how can Abram’s bold faith inspire you to obey and follow God?
  • What reasons do you have to worship God, both for His past faithfulness and the hope of His future faithfulness?
  • What do you need to do in faith to actively follow and obey God’s call on your life?
