Kansas City, Kansas Church robbed of $36K worth of equipment; Pastor says technology tip led to recovery of items

From Churchleaders: In a statement, the Kansas City Kansas (KCK) Police Department said: While property crimes don’t often grab headlines, we know that they not only leave victims feeling violated, but they create a real financial hardship on hard working families, businesses and communities. Today, thanks to a tip, we located thousands of dollars in property stolen from one of our KCK churches and then returned it to their congregation.

Sharon and I met Amy in Laramie, Wyoming a year ago so on a Great Commission trip. Amy’s family is growing. Glory to God! We love this family. Kansas City, Kansas, police say approximately $36,000 of property was stolen from Forest Grove Baptist Church on Friday, and a tip on Monday led police to recover items from a house a third of a mile from the church and arrest a person of interest. More Here
