Good morning,
I hope this is a blessing to you. If God gives you an inspiration, you will never be the same. To God be the glory. Be back later to see comments; and if there was any edits necessary in my typing the words from the throughts that I hear from our Lord.
Forgive me of any edits: Time only to sit in obedience to the faith to send this to you. Holy Spirit, you are welcome here. Paul planted / Apollos watered, but it is always God who does the work. I hope this is a little sprinkle to your spiritual walk with Jesus today! Jesus is Lord! We can know him as we are fully known!
Thank you for taking your time to join me today and for trusting the Lord in me to even take time to read this.
You most likely have noticed a difference in my writing style over the last bunch of years; and today, my mind is clear to why.
I am glad to report, the Lord is guiding me back to writing about our life with God in the beauty of experiencing God’s Presence with us in everything that we do!
Today, however, my focus is on the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Have you been touched by the power of the Lord to receive the Holy Spirit of God to guide you into all truth; and to know the one who will shew you things to come?
I only ask for 2 reasons: 1. I didn’t know anything about a Holy Spirit until, God got my attention and began showing me things I didn’t understand. And, 2. I believe the Lord is saying NOW is the appropriate time to hear the Lord ask you too. Here is the Scripture that has been working in my heart from summer till now and forever has a place in my life, now that I am seeing what the Lord will do, when I get out of God’s way and trust Him to hear my prayers.
And, now that I trust God to guide my prayers too!
‘Howbeit when he,
the Spirit of truth, is come,
he will guide you into all truth:
for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. ‘
John 16:13
In my life, I have fell to caring too much about what people think of me, and it’s been a struggle to just trust my Lord Jesus, who is the Christ, the Son of the Living God.
We know there is a God, but to know God is a place Jesus is growing us in! The Holy Spirit is like a Mansion, that we are not fit to be like a king. The Holy Spirit helps us overcome all things in our old human self, to become more fitting in this family of God, that Jesus thought it to be VITAL enough to die for so that we would have the opportunity to discover there is so much more that God knows that we can even imagine.
Many times we want to be like Peter and get in the way of Jesus going to the cross???
Pause and really ask God to help you examine your heart.
Since, I began writing, I have grown from seeing the beauty of God in all of His Creation, to knowing Him as a just God. God is fair and fair is more than toxic love. Fair is pure love.
Have you ever felt like you are being tossed to and fro like a wave in the ocean? If you are following Jesus, we have a lot to learn about Him.
Why didn’t Jesus just get up and run as fast as he could to Mary and Martha to spare the family of the pain to see they brother die? Does this sound like love? Well, It is love, because we have the opportunity to see that Jesus knew God was going to magnify His Power through the prayers of Jesus to raise Lazaras from the dead!
In your life, why would God allow the 3 Hebrew boys to be thrown into the firery furnace? Does this sound like love? Well, it was pure love, because Jesus was in that fire before them and protected them from even smelling like smoke!
Why?
Why?
Why?
Why are we called to a suffering to see the glory of God present in our life even today?
Because no one will believe our words! Unless they see the power of God upon us!
Okay, If the Lord will help me, when you receive this, you will never be the same!
What we want is not always what God wants us to see.
God is working among us, but many times we are missing seeing the work of God in the terrible things.
Jesus was unmoved by what people do! Jesus was unmoved by his own emotions, even though Jesus loves us, He knows God!
Right there! Did you see it?
What is the difference?
God wants us to know Him! And know Him through His Son that God did send!
Jesus said and it is written in John 17:3 what it is to come to know and believe in the love God has for us! Do we trust the Spirit God did send to us to guide us into all truth and shew us things to come – As Jesus trusted the Spirit of God, whom abided in Him?
‘And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. ‘
John 17:3
We can’t mix Jesus with any other spiritual practices!
It’s not Jesus plus anything; it’s not Jesus plus us and what we think we ought to do out of the same love Jesus has for us. It’s JUST JESUS and abiding in the Holy Spirit to trust God … at the appointed time of life – Just like the LORD told Abraham his wife Sarah was going to have a child at the appointed time of life!
“According to the time of life” – Gen18:10
Sarah, thy wife shall have a son.
God is giving us opportunity to know Him! And know Him through the Son God did send!
Before we leave Gen 18 …
Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed … Gen 18:14
Jesus is coming quickly; and soon means in a short time *Shortly after any time specified or supposed. Painting a picture of what God is doing, “as soon after sunrise,” we do what …; or “as soon after dinner,” … See, God is wanting us to hear Him; and this message is on time for you.
Rev 22:12 reads truth; as truth means reality; manifest, unconcealed essence of a matter. REF: See also Is 45:15. Jesus is the unconcealed Truth in the Spirit of God!
God concealed himself and sent the Savoir of the world!
Here’s the essence of this post today:
That you may know Him! As 1 John 4:16 says,
‘And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. ‘
1 John 4:16
Now, as the Lord guides my thoughts, 2 points to close this post:
- God is love, but God is also Just, which means fair. In that God sent Jesus and Jesus died for all! Faith in Jesus the Christ makes us Jesus (Righteous) in God’s eyes. So ask God about your relationship with Him. Do you know Him, as Jesus is LORD? or just know about the name of Jesus who died for you?
What’s the difference in knowing Jesus as Lord? You’re going to love your enemy, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you and pray for those who despitefully use and persecute you. This is the love of God and why we are here! God so loved the world that He sent Jesus that we can know Him through His Son!
2. Lord Jesus, don’t let this be me:
‘For all seek their own,
not the things which are Jesus Christ’s. ‘
Philippians 2:21
Today, it is becoming increasingly clear that the power of God within us is not dropping the Name of Jesus on the things we see as good or right to get what we suppose we might want. Name dropping Jesus is not the person who has a relationship with Jesus.
The demons said, I recognize Jesus, and I have heard of Paul, but they had not recognized the ones who just spoke Jesus Name. Those who know about the Name of Jesus, but did not have a understanding of who Jesus was.
Yesterday, while leading 2 dogs and one dog off leash, I realized that if we don’t teach a dog to understand our commands, they will do as they please with a happy heart, but with no leadership, they create havoc by not knowing one direction. All they know is what I showed them just before this new thing.
We had a routine. We put the harnesses on. Sammy 1st, Sugar 2nd and once I had both leashes securely, we all went for a walk, including Maddie off leash … and that is another topic and place to learn.
Yesterday, I was taking them home! The Jeep as loaded, and the door was open, but there was one more thing I needed to do before I left. Maddie was staying you see? The dogs didn’t see all I had responsibility for caring for. I needed to care for Maddie’s needs before I left.
There is something in this story that relates to our relationship with God. We can’t get used to Jesus and what we think He will do. We have to learn to abide in the Mind of Christ, always willing to be patient and give room for God to do all He must do.
We must come to know and believe in the love God has for us. God is love. And he who abides in love abides in God and God in Him. And, fair means, God gave Jesus to the world – Jesus died for all, but whosoever will drop our pride and seek the LORD and come to know Him in Spirit and in Truth.
Jesus Name – Saves
Jesus is Lord – Delivers, guides, protects, serves
The difference in the knowing the name of Jesus and the name of Paul … is knowing Jesus is LORD of all!
I am sure there is more, but that is all the Lord has on my heart to share with you today. Prayer in Jesus Name trusts God, who made Jesus Lord. We can trust God.
May I encourage you in reading with the Lord Philippians Books 1-4 and stay there for a while to get every morsel of the power of Christ in us that God wants us to know and believe in His Love … so that we can bless others by the same!

LIU – Look It UP! It is written! And it is written to help us know God and know the Son, whom God did sent.
I sure hope this is a blessing to you! – Now, I must go on my way! There is never enough time in my mind, but when we trust the Lord, – all things have a time appointed. The LORD gives every opportunity still today to repent and change our mind.
The wisdom from above does come to us and the Bibles says is first of all pure, which doesn’t leave us double minded about wanting God’s help in changing our mind. :)
And before I forget to say, when thoughts or emotions come to you that you know God has not approved; and God never torments our soul – Learn to literally send those things back to whence they come! If they are not from God, they are not for us!
And the God of all Peace shall be with you and you will know Him surely and surely right true!
