Almighty God, our Father, and You are rightly so, the Father of all men as our Creator, more wonderfully, You are our Father in the spiritual sense being that Your Son, Jesus Christ, gave His life on the Cross for our sins and was raised from the dead; we who are Your sons and daughters by faith are blessed to call You our Father in Heaven . . . we thank You for America’s Veteran.
Each Veteran is among all of history’s known heroes, faithful leaders, unfaltering warriors, defenders and protectors of our freedom, and for each one we are grateful to You for raising up such men and women of courage.
Our Veterans have served America well, during both times of turbulence and times of peace. For those of past generations, and for those with us today, we honor them and ask Your blessings upon them and their families for their faithful service and sacrifice of private lives in defending our freedom, clothed in their love of country and courage, to stand together as one nation under God. Help us to keep in mind what they stood for and to never forget their devotion. LORD God, our Father, help our citizens now and for all time, to proudly carry on their legacy of loyalty, unity, and oneness, from this day forward. In the Mighty Name above all names, Jesus Christ the Victor, Amen!
