FGGAM Photo: Yesterday I preached Open at Door Bible Church in Los Alamos! My message was on VISION. Proverbs 29:18: “Where there is no vision, the people perish. But he keepeth the law, happy is he.” What is your vision for your life? God reveals his plan, he gives us guidance in regards to his plan. Those who follow his guidance are happy they do. Without vision Churches perish, communities perish, (Look at Albuquerque it is dying , no vision, families perish, kids roam the streets and get into trouble, that is Albuquerque. I love coming to Pastor Paul Jaramillo’s Church. I have made so many friends over the years like Denise and Betty! If you are looking for a Church home in the LA area. Let me know, I will put you in contact with Pastor Paul. The Church was about full yesterday and then we all enjoyed a Thanksgiving meal! Pastor Paul and his wife Pat are doing a tremendous outreach in the Los Alamos/Espanola area.
I pray God has given you a vision for your life and your walking it out, it is the only way to love. From the words of Clara Nelson: God gives us so many blessings each day, thank you Lord for health and strength. There are so many people lost on sin, Lord, please show me how to bring them in.

I agree with Denzell Washington that both parties are manipulating the American people. Making promises that they will never happen, sadly, that is American politics. True journalism is lost in America! The media is either to the left or right. Horrible situation, goes against everything I learned at Brown and in my life as a news reporter and news director. Here at FGGAM we try so hard for our Lord to being you a Biblical Worldview! God is the only one that makes promises and never goes back on his words. You see my friends, Christianity is failing in America, so many have left the Church. It has turned to political. You can identify many Churches from its politics, rather than its belief in JESUS.

I do not accept dirty words, and all sorts of garbage coming pout of the mouths of many politicians. They need Jesus! This sends the wrong message to people who are not Christians or who have left the Church thinking how can Christians back such filth. The Church does such damage to God’s Church when it supports nasty behavior. Sharon and I know this! We hear it from so many people when we minister, “I left because I got sick of the politics.”

America will remain in turmoil until it has a TRUE GREAT AWAKENING! SEE VIDEO BELOW! Politics will not revive America, only God can! As we said back in the day, “Put that in your pipe and smoke it!” Now, people would think I am smoking pot or something! Boy old boy! I still live in my simple world with JESUS and my Sharon and children and grandchildren. I do not care what the world thinks, only what God and my family thinks of me counts. I am just a simple servant of God. I love Jesus and all people.

I see the failure of Churches as we travel. BUT! SHARON AND I SEE GREATNESS FOR OUR LORD!  Yesterday I preached at the Open Door Bible Church in Los Alamos pastored by Paul Jaramillo. Under the leadership of Pastor Paul and his lovely bride Pat, the Church is flourishing. It encourages me to keep on going! Glory! So much love in Paul’s Church also I get good reports from FBC in Reserve, New Mexico! Pastor Sheldon Wolf is having a great impact for God in Catron County! The same goes for Pastor Ed Solis in Albuquerque at ReAwaken Church in Albuquerque. Pastor Ed and his lovely wife Darlene are doing such an awesome work at their new Church. It is a Church that is growing for the the glory of God, Ed and Darlene share the love of Jesus with all! I also have to mention Pastor Danny Almanza of Grants, New Mexico. Pastor Danny and his congregation at The Way the Truth and Life Ministries, are shining such a bright light over the city of Grants and beyond. They are reaching out into the community more than ever! I also have to give a shout out for the glory of God to Pastor Dave Schumm at FBC in Glenwood, NM. Pastor Dave is such an awesome man of God and his Church is growing and having a wonderful impact in Catron County! The Churches summer Bible camp draws many children from all over the County, the team with the Community Church of Glenwood to make so very wonderful for the children. I have prayed for years that Churches would come together for the glory of God! I am very frustrated with the mega Churches in Albuquerque, They do not work tother!!!! WHY?

Albuquerque is perishing…..A City with no vision. From the words of Clara Nelson: God gives us so many blessings each day, thank you Lord for health and strength. There are so many people lost on sin, Lord, please show me how to bring them in.

Oscar-winning actor Denzel Washington recently spoke out about American politics and how people need to be aware of the ongoing manipulative tactics used by both parties.

In an interview with The Sunday Times, editor Jonathan Dean quoted a line from “Gladiator II,” the upcoming Ridley Scott sequel that Washington stars in: “Empires fall, so do emperors.” Dean noted that the phrase felt relevant to the current political landscape after the election. “You know, it’s so easy to stand outside America and say this and that,” Washington said in response. “Turn around, you know? Pick a country. Any one.” More Here

‘From Hell to Hallelujah’: Denzel Washington Reflects on Faith Journey

If Americans cannot get along, America cannot get along.

The Great Awakening was a series of Protestant religious revivals in the American colonies and England that occurred in multiple waves, including the Second Great Awakening in the early 1800s:

  • The Second Great Awakening

This period of religious fervor began around 1800 and peaked in the early 1830s. It was characterized by a focus on personal commitment to faith, doing good works, and rejecting the Enlightenment’s influence on the United States. The Second Great Awakening was spread by the growth of Baptist and Methodist churches, and the most famous leader was Reverend Charles Grandison Finney.

  • The First Great Awakening

This period occurred in the 1730s and 1740s and was characterized by a focus on personal and experiential faith, rather than book learning. It was influenced by ministers such as George Whitefield, Jonathan Edwards, and Gilbert Tennent.

  • Other characteristics
The Great Awakening was a reaction to the increasing secularization of society and the materialistic nature of American churches. It led to the establishment of new denominations, such as the Methodists and Baptists, and the growth of evangelical churches. It also influenced the Revolutionary War by encouraging nationalism and individual rights
