Joy And Favor…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I have been seeing the word joy a lot lately. Recently, I texted a congrats to a co-worker that has a new grandbaby. What a blessing a newborn baby is. A baby changes everything. Nights of little or no sleep, but worth it all. A joy that is hard to put into words.
I remembered the autobiography my oldest daughter made while in the 8th grade here in the star city. Under her picture she penned the words joy filled the room. My mind never forgot that. I recently asked her to locate that autobiography. Joy filled the room two more times for me at local hospitals. There is nothing like the joy of children. They light up any room. They light up the world. Let’s pray for the children around the world today. They are such a blessing.
Let’s Pray:
Father, you tell us in Luke 18:16 But Jesus called the children to him and said, Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
Father, Matthew 18:1-3 At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” He called a little child to him and placed the child among them. And he said: Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
Father, Matthew 19:13 Then some children were brought to Him so that He might lay His hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, “Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Father, thank you for the blessing of children. Today, we pray for all the children around this globe. We pray God they will be taught the ways of the Lord at a young age. We pray for your Word to take root in their little hearts. May they grow into strong men and women of the Lord.
Father, we pray for safety, protection and love for every child, oh God. Meet every need they have according to your riches in glory. Amen.
