The World Awaits…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I am up early this morning ready to write and eat my leftover blueberry pancakes from a weekend away of shopping with my oldest daughter. Shopping has never been my specialty; I am not sure why. Everything in the stores look all so beautiful, but I can so easily walk on by. I guess it’s fair to say I am content. I like nice things, but I don’t need them. My need is to tell people about Jesus. Every day I look for opportunities to share the good news. I think my family and friends have finally accepted the fact that shopping with me is an adventure. I take a long time and leave stores empty handed but have met a lot of interesting people.
On this trip, I met a lady her customer service name tag read no-no. We tried hard to communicate about something I was looking for to put under the tree. It’s for a ministry outreach I am involved here in the star city. We eventually just smiled at each other and went our separate ways. As I tried hard to explain what I was looking for, she would take me in a new direction in the store. I would say, no, no that’s not it. I would explain again and in another direction we would go. Once again, I would say, no, no that’s not it. Even with my sketchers on, my feet were getting tired. I asked if I could take a picture of her name tag, and she smiled, and I did too. Why didn’t I have something to give her I thought to myself. My good morning beautiful people, tell them I love them cards were all left at home. We could have changed things around a bit with a yes, yes! She was the last face I saw as I left the store. I smiled and nodded my head with a yes, yes! I am thankful to have met her.
I am so full of stories from my weekend of shopping away. My dollar tree ornaments and a sweatshirt for my grandson were easy to unload from my daughter’s tank she drives. I couldn’t wait to get to my computer to write this morning. Next up-blueberry pancakes. How about you?
Let’s Pray:
Father, we thank you for another day to tell the world about you. May people all across this globe that hasn’t heard about you hear the good news, the best news ever known to mankind. Send someone to them, we pray.
Father, we declare and decree that the love of Christ will go throughout the land by every means possible so that everyone will hear the gospel, the true and full gospel of Jesus Christ.
Father, thank you for new opportunities today to share your love, the love of Christ. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Jesus loves you! Believe…
And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because he first loved us. 1 John 4:16-19
