Why the number of Independent voters is growing in New Mexico

I am an Independent, I think it is unconstitutional to not allow Independents to vote in the primary here in New Mexico. Such a shame! Un-American.

Numbers from the secretary of state’s office show that in the last four years, the number of registered Democrats has decreased by more than 20,000. Meanwhile, Republicans have gained 13,000 registered voters (to review the report and data from 2020, click here. For 2024 numbers, click here.)
