Soon the Trump administration will take over. You will find that some or many of the promises that Trump made during his campaign will never happen. This happens all the time in politics. Broken promises. Trump is already back peddling on bringing down the price of groceries and other goods from day one, now he says, “Once they are high, its harder to bring them down” Yep! Then why make promises you cannot fulfill? It concerns me Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk run off at the mouth. They both act like they run the country. My goodness! Big egos for sure. EGO stands for edging GOD out!
This whole thing that they are going to slash the government workforce needs a closer look. Some of you detest CNN and other news outlets, but I am a Pastor/newsman, not a politician. I look at things from a Biblical standpoint. It is very hard to find good old fashion journalism in America anymore, even FOX has so many problems. I started in radio news in 1978! Please take time to read this report by Zachary B. Wolf. Promises and claims can be spouted off very easily, we need to dig deeper. The people did not elect Ramaswamy and Musk, but they act like they have a lot of power and say. Not good. I do not trust either one. My spirit is disturbed. I pray that there are many men and women of God in the Trump administration. Sadly, think the pro-life movement has been kicked to the curb.
Biden has fallen into disgrace. He should have resigned from office months ago. Hardcore Democrat James Carville says Biden has failed miserably. Carville calls Biden ‘most tragic figure in modern American politics’
Biden’s lie to the American people saying he would not pardon his son Hunter, and then does, was more than the final straw. Such a slap in the face to the American people. Biden has more than destroyed his credibility, he will go down in my book as one of the worst Presidents in our history. Remember his withdrawal from Afghanistan? Worst foreign policy/plan ever in our history!
As you can see I am not a supporter of either party. America needs unity, and that can only happen when the country goes back to GOD! Both parties have gone away from Biblical principles. America needs a come to JESUS meeting. So many Christians here in America have left the Word of God and have a political Bible. Way to much hate! JESUS is for the poor, for all people. Jesus tells us to love others.
Last night I watched a movie on the life of Billy Graham. It was a movie I had never seen before. The movie started from his birth to when he went to be with JESUS. I am old and cannot remember the name right now. My point is, will America ever see another man like Billy Graham? The man and his team turned the world upright for JESUS. We lack now. When I think of Billy, I think of JESUS. To me he was not a personality, but a man of JESUS! I saw JESUS in him. JESUS is the first thing I think of when I see him or read his books. Glory! How many people can you say that about?
If we give ourselves to JESUS he will take care of us, politicians do not. Put your trust in JESUS, not politics. America politics is more and more ungodly that ever in my 68 years. Father, I want to continue to always grow into a more intimate relationship with You. Expose the areas of my life that hinder me from being Christlike, and cause my life to reflect the character of my precious Savior and Lord.

Government spending skyrocketed
The US spent around $900 billion in 1984 ($2.7 trillion in 2024 dollars), compared with more than $7 trillion in 2024. Some of that money goes via contracts to Elon Musk, the world’s richest man who is working with Ramaswamy on the Department of Government Efficiency, a new nongovernmental commission.
The national debt has more than exploded
It went from less than $1.6 trillion in 1984 ($4.8 trillion in 2024 dollars) to more than $35.5 trillion today, which should concern every American and is plenty of reason to make any effort to control federal spending a serious and bipartisan push. More Here
