So Very Tragic: FBI searching autism centers in Minneapolis, St. Cloud after finding ‘substantial evidence’ of health care fraud

Minnesota Star Tribune Reports: In an affidavit to apply for Thursday’s search warrants, FBI Special Agent Kurt Beulke wrote that Minnesota companies billed the state for roughly $400 million in such services in both 2023 and 2024 for Minnesota Medical Assistance and related public health plans. That was up from $1.7 million in 2017. Beulke wrote that the FBI’s investigation “has found substantial evidence that many of these companies have been submitting fraudulent claims for EIDBI services that were not actually provided or that were not covered by the EIDBI program.”

So heartbreaking! My goodness! It seems to me financial scams are increasing in America, even in the Church!

The FBI raided two Minnesota autism centers Thursday as part of an investigation it said revealed “substantial evidence” of millions of dollars in fraudulent Medicaid claims from companies participating in a state program serving young people.

Team Jesus, be so very careful with your money. Vet all those that claim they want to help you invest your money and help you with your finances. Always check their references. It is so very tragic to see a man who claims to be a Pastor commit such evil. Such shame! Evil like this chases people away from the Church.

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission is seeking to claw back nearly $6 million plus penalties from a Washington state pastor accused of tricking more than 1,500 Hispanic individuals, including members of his own church, into investing in a fraudulent cryptocurrency scam authorities have described as a Ponzi scheme.

A civil enforcement complaint filed by the CFTC in the District Court for the Eastern District of Washington on Monday alleges that former pastor Francier Obando Pinillo, doing business as Solanofi, Solano Partners Ltd., and Solano Capital Investments — collectively Solanofi entities — targeted at least 1,515 “unsophisticated” victims with his scheme that ran from at least Nov. 1, 2021, to Dec. 31, 2023. More Here
