The Blessing Of Love…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. It’s a beautiful time of year. The light snow makes its way from the sky this morning in West Chapman, Maine. I ponder what the day will bring. I invite my grandson to join my prayer time this morning as he sits quietly positioning batman beside me. Others are sound asleep.
I pray he will learn early in life how to communicate with God, the creator of the universe. I pray they all will. I pray you will as well. He has all the answers to our lives, and he loves to communicate with us, his beautiful people.
How does a God that seems so far away communicate with us? He does it in so many ways. His Word is a lamp unto our feet, and a light unto our path. (Psalm 119:105) He brings messages from others (prophetic words), and he shows us great favor. He always shows up, gives us our hearts desire and loves us like no other. We just need to stay in communion with him and keep our eyes looking up to the hills from where our help cometh. He truly is closer than a brother. (Proverbs 18:24)
Psalm 121 tells us to lift up our eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh our help. Our help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. Sounds like he has everything well under control for our lives as we look to him. Amen?
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for the birth of Jesus. Thank you for the gift of children. Thank you that you, oh God, are watching over your Word to fulfill it. Not one Word from your mouth will return void but will prosper and accomplish all that you have planned. (Isaiah 55:11)
Father, today no matter what the struggle may be, may people all across this globe keep looking up to the keeper of both heaven and earth. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. He has your answer, keep looking up. His love is amazing. (John 3:16)
