The Lights Are On…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. It’s a pretty busy weekend here in our city. From a festival of trees to prayer events, to the light parade, the excitement is building for Christmas in our community.
This morning as we pray for our world, let’s thank him in advance for being the answer. Let’s remind ourselves that it is in Him, we live and move and have our being. (Acts 17:28)
Recently this photo of a prayer float came up in my memories from a parade from years ago. Prayer is always the key, and His answer is our hearts cry. Amen? Amen.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for every breath we take as we journey life with you. Ecclesiastes 11:5 Solomon tells us As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things.
Father, you truly are worthy of it all. You are worthy of our praise at all times. Thank you for lighting up our communities with your presence. When things are good, we praise you. When things are challenging, we praise you. We understand through praising you, oh God, our challenges are overcome. Shine your light brightly in our towns, cities, and around the world. Amen.
