Give me JESUS! JESUS! Not politics and hate! Lord have mercy on America! We are in very bad shape. GIVE ME JESUS! JESUS! JESUS! The Church in America is failing to reach many.
The rhetoric of hate MUST STOP! TONE IT WAY DOWN AMERICA! “The rhetoric of hate” refers to using language or discourse that is intended to incite hatred, prejudice, or violence against a specific group of people based on characteristics like race, religion, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation, often by employing inflammatory and derogatory language to demonize or dehumanize the targeted group.
This hate is being handed down to our children! It is now generational.
Just think America! This is the country we have created, a nation of hate. You can put lipstick on a pig, but its still a pig. Shame on YOU AMERICA! The LORD shows me much at 2am when the world is silent. What is HE showing you today?
NY POST: A 15-year-old white boy has pleaded guilty to trying to drown a black teen in a Cape Cod pond while spewing racial slurs — as a pal laughed and called the victim “George Floyd” because he couldn’t breathe.
Heinous tormentor John Sheeran, who was 14 during the July 2023 attack, threw rocks at his 15-year-old victim and forced him to enter the pond, then shoved the boy’s head under the water while calling him the n-word, prosecutors said. More Here
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another:
just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.
By this all people will know that you are my disciples,
if you have love for one another.
–John 13:34-35
Christianity in America is declining for a number of reasons, including:
-
Secularization
A gradual decline in adherence to Christianity, with more people observing spiritual concepts without being part of an organized religion
-
Church attendance
The number of Americans who attend religious services at least once a week has decreased, and the number who say they never attend has increased
-
Church reputation
Scandals in the Roman Catholic Church and the Southern Baptist Convention, the spread of White Christian nationalism, and the perception that the church oppresses marginalized groups have all damaged the church’s reputation
-
Disillusionment
Some people feel disillusioned and disheartened by a focus on ritual over relationship, dogma over discipleship, and performance over presence
-
Political polarization
The Republican Party is seen as the party of organized religion, while the Democratic Party is seen as the party of secular America
