Pastor Jerry McCullah leads us in prayer……….
Father, the multitudes of all ages and economic positions desperately need Your Supernatural, Divine intervention in these perilous days. LORD, we cry out to You for calming of the winds, and Your ability to bring these fires under control. We thank You for those who are risking life to help others in need; won’t You please protect them from harm, give them strength, and a sense of fearlessness in their work. LORD, multitudes of people are suddenly homeless, we ask for You to show the way of provision. May Your angels work to save all life at risk. I call upon Jehovah Shalom, the LORD our Peace to place an umbrella of Divine Peace over this land ablaze with fire, and ablaze with out-of-control fear. We place our trust in You for rescue and provision, in Jesus Name, Amen!
Beloved Believer, Churches, accept the challenge to pray effectual, fervent, prayers for this need, for the rest of this year of unknown needs, and forever, until Jesus comes! Amen, even so, come LORD Jesus! Pray On!
Lauren Daigle’s “You Say”
You say I am loved when I can’t feel a thing
You say I am strong when I think I am weak
And you say I am held when I am falling short
When I don’t belong, oh, you say I am yours.
Our Father is offering you the same assurance right now.

Southern California Edison (SCE), a power company that services 15 million people across Southern, Central and Coastal California, said the weather conditions in Los Angeles County are too unsafe for power to be restored for the hundreds of thousands experiencing outages.
The company said customers may experience several days of outages as the windstorm and wildfires have made it too unsafe for electric power restorations. An estimated date for restorations was not given.
“This extreme weather event is a rapidly evolving situation. While the most severe winds have started to abate, this weather is expected to continue through the early part of the weekend,” SCE said in a news release.
As of 4 p.m. on Wednesday, 413,639 SCE customers were experiencing power outages and 453,872 were under a Public Safety Power Shutoff watch. More Here
From the words of Dr. Jim Denison…..
On a logical level, the very fact that God is all-knowing, all-loving, and all-powerful assures us that he redeems our suffering for greater good (cf. Romans 8:28).
Because he is omniscient, he knows our pain (cf. Hebrews 4:13; 1 John 3:20). Because he is all-loving, he wants only what is best for us (1 John 4:8). Because he is omnipotent, he can redeem anything for a greater purpose (cf. Matthew 19:26).
We may not understand such redemption on this side of eternity, but we can believe what we cannot yet see (1 Corinthians 13:12). In the meantime, “we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7).
On a practical level, we must not reject the love and power of God when we need them most. It is when we do not understand our suffering that we especially need to trust the One who sees what we cannot (Proverbs 15:3) and who loves us with unconditional grace (Titus 2:11). It is when our pain is greatest that we most need our Great Physician (cf. John 5:1–9).
And it is when life is most painful that God’s people should be most on our knees.
We can pray for rain and for the winds to calm where wildfires are raging. We can pray for protection and strength for those responding to this unfolding tragedy.
