Jimmy Carter and the man he beat for president, Gerald Ford, got so tight after office that their friendship became a kind of buddy movie, complete with road trips that were never long enough because they had so much to gab about. Carter did not get along nearly so well with the other living presidents. The outsider president was an outlier after his presidency, too.

God Bless the memory of Jimmy Carter! Amen! We need more like him, that can control their temper and speech! Whatever happened to ‘speak no evil?” Its a disease in todays politics and accepted by to many Christians! What is that about? Oh, that’s right…….just 4% of Americans have a Biblical Worldview. It is a very tragic day in America when the majority accept ‘potty mouths.’

The remains of President Jimmy Carter to lie in state at US Capitol today will arrive in Washington, D.C., today, where plans call for members of Congress to pay their respects at a service in the Capitol Rotunda before Carter will lie in state tonight and Wednesday.

Timing of today’s events were being adjusted due to a winter storm that slammed the region Monday. Federal offices were closed Monday and again today because of the weather, but plans called for the Carter events to take place. More Here
