Does your Church open its door to the homeless? If your Church does please leave your Churches name and location in the comment section. This Pastor has the compassion of Jesus. Common sense is very rare in America!
Got Questions states: The Bible acknowledges the fact of homelessness and instructs us to help those who are poor and needy, including those in homeless situations.
Jesus could identify with the homeless in His itinerant ministry. In Matthew 8:20, Jesus states that even animals have a place to call home, but He had nowhere to lay His head. He stayed in the homes of whoever would welcome Him and sometimes outside. He was born in a stable and even spent His last night before His crucifixion outside in a garden. The apostle Paul was also at times in a homeless situation (1 Corinthians 4:11).
Does your Church ignore the homeless? Some Churches sit empty during the week! Why?

An Ohio pastor has been found guilty of a fire code violation and could face as much as two months in jail for keeping his church open all day so that local homeless could shelter there.
Pastor Chris Avell of Dad’s Place Church in Bryan was found guilty on Tuesday of the violation, which was leveled by city officials who believe that the church is not following proper fire code.
A Bryan Municipal Court judge fined the pastor $200 and gave him a 60-day suspended jail sentence, according to the First Liberty Institute, which represents Avell throughout his legal battles with the city. The judge stayed the decision for 30 days to allow Avell’s attorneys to appeal. More Here
