KRQE News 13 (Albuquerque, NM) reports that Albuquerque police arrested and charged Tajahnae Maryann Johnson and Roderick Norseweather yesterday (1/3/2025) with two counts of human trafficking of a person under the age of 16.
According to the Albuquerque Police Department, detectives spoke with a 14-year-old girl who was soliciting sex near Central Avenue SE and Rhode Island Street SE in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The girl said she met Roderick in California and was transported via Amtrack to Albuquerque, where she was forced to work as a prostitute and provide her earnings to Roderick under the threat of violence.

My brothers and sisters, the tragedy is beyond words and it is happening right here in Albuquerque, not some other place in another state! Albuquerque has become a cesspool of violence, including the kidnapping and forcing of minor girls to work as prostitutes.
Whether it is the culture of death exemplified in the near ‘worship’ of abortion, Albuquerque’s ‘sanctuary city’ status, the epidemic of homelessness, gun violence, drug trafficking and use, legalization of marijuana contrary to federal law, rampant thefts and other crimes, or the decades of one-party control resulting in a seeming hesitation to truly address the justice system to assure that arrested criminals are not routinely let loose again on the streets to commit more crimes, the City of Albuquerque is in dire need of JESUS!
Let’s pray that New Mexico’s leaders at the local, city and state levels, will humble themselves and seek God for mercy and answers. This may seem obvious to some, oversimplified or even silly to those who are not of the faith, but none of that changes the fact that the answer to the problems here in Albuquerque (and everywhere else for that matter) is to believe upon Jesus and to seek the wisdom of God, not the wisdom of man.
Please pray for our city, our state and our nation!
2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV)
“…if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
1 Corinthians 3:19 (NLT)
“For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God. As the Scriptures say, ‘He traps the wise in the snare of their own cleverness.’”
