TAKE THIS TO HEART! Yes we pray……..BUT! Not repenting means to refuse to ask for forgiveness or change one’s ways after committing a sinIt’s a serious sin that can have dire consequences. So many pray, not enough in America repent and change their behavior. New Mexico is a prime example of this failure. Its worse than ever here.

Years ago when I started to flame myself through radio, I was called a Maverick. You do not hear that term much anymore. A Maverick is defined as someone who is independent and does not conform to the usual rules and expectations. That is me for sure! I am not part of a group, a club, a clique, nope, I am an independent man of God. Sharon is a independent woman of God. FGGAM is an Independent Ministry, not connected to any denomination or group. After you read this message,  I beleive you will understand me more. Why do I share this, I share it because I see so many Christian cliques and pep rallies, that leave out many, there is no improvement in the spiritual condition of New Mexico and America. Sharon and I and FGGAM go with God, not the ways of man. The ways of man are killing America. Do you not see? I see failure when I see it! Put your Biblical lenses on. The America Church is in decline, they must own the failure.

PS: I just a call from a man I visited in the hospital this week. He is home now and during his stay not one person from his Church, a fairly large Church, came to see him. Not one person, that includes the Pastor. I will visit him again soon. Why do Pastors not make home visits anymore? I am almost 70, my days are numbered by my Lord. I will serve my Lord until he calls me home. Glory! These are very interesting times indeed, I never thought I would see such chaos in the American Church. YOU MUST WATCH THE GEORGE BARNA VIDEOS!

Sharon and I met Amy in Laramie, Wyoming a year ago so on a Great Commission trip. Amy’s family is growing. Glory to God! We love this family. We love sharing JESUS and carrying out The Great Commission. Here is what Amy wrote on Facebook: Today my little family received this bible in the mail. And I am so excited to get diving into it. Bubba and I have decided that we are going to read a chapter a night.
Thank you Dewey and Sharon! We love you both!
FGGAM Photo. We love sharing JESUS everywhere we go. We have a heart for young people! They are our future! Smiths grocery is an excellent place to share JESUS, as is the Post Office and Bank.
So many, many folks no longer have a Pastor to officiate the funeral of their loved one. Pastor Dewey has done a funeral twice a week sometimes, and one day he officiated two. He is so very sad that so many folks have left the Church.
We had such a blessed time sharing the love of Jesus in Alaska. I’ve always said that everything that we do or say should always point others to Jesus!
FGGAM Photo from Denver camp for the homeless in the summer of 2023. Pastor Dewey, Gretchen and Lars share the love of Jesus with food and treats to all.

Adrian in the middle and Dylan on the right from Valvoline Instant Oil Change on Golf Course and Paradise!  Great old fashion service with smiles! Great time of ministry and sharing! I highly recommend their services! Let us all spread the love of Jesus! Also visited the post office! Our young people are the future of the Church!
FGGAM Photograph. We thank Charles Stanley’s ministry for helping us with ministry tools as we carry out The Great Commission. This photograph is from our trip into Arizona sharing JESUS! JESUS! Pastor Dewey was wearing his ‘Ask me about Jesus’ shirt, and this lovely asked him if he knew JESUS! What a conversation starter! JESUS!

Love this message! Many Pastors and congregants are not carrying out The Great Commission. Many have become lazy, taking the easy way out and not hitting the streets and reaching out to all people. Many EXPECT people just to come, NOT HAPPENING! People just do not go to Church like they did years ago, they have to be invited or picked up. I got a message from a lady 2 weeks ago saying she cannot find a Church in Albuquerque to pick her up so she can go to Church! How crazy is that! I will always remember Deacon Charles McGargish of the First Baptist Church in Reserve, NM always brining people to Church! Glory!

So many Churches I see are in decline………Yes! The truth does hurt. Free coffee and donuts and potlucks don’t cut it! Ha! Please watch the George Barna videos I share in this message. I do not see disabled people in so many Church’s, I do not see many children in so many Churches, I see no youth programs in many Churches, I know of some Church’s that have not officiated a baptism in 6 years!  Holy Cow!……….tragic. I am tired of hearing from Pastors, “Its New Mexico what do you expect.” I do not accept that! My goodness! Do not accept failure!

Many have left the Church according to a Gallup poll. Sadly, the poll shows only 30% of Americans rate clergy as “highly honest and ethical.” In the Barna Research, just 4% of Americans have a Biblical Worldview. We have a lot of work to do for JESUS! Please watch the videos I have posted with George Barna. Please inform your Pastor about George Barna research. LETS NOT PLAY CHURCH! LETS BE THE CHURCH! GLORY!

If I can help your Church learn how to carry out The Great Commission, please contact me. I have said until I am blue in the face, that the greatest failure of the American Church in the last decade or more, is not in carrying out The Great Commission. FGGAM is a Great Commission Ministry! We know no walls. So many folks should get off of Facebook for awhile and hit the streets for JESUS! Why do you think posting all the time on Facebook is brining people to Christ? Your preaching to the Choir! My goodness.

Do you remember those old insurance commercials with the phrase, “So easy, a caveman could do it,” in the early 2000s? I do, though the grey hairs in my beard remind me that was nearly a quarter century ago. Around the same time, there were also the office supply store “Easy Button” commercials. Man has often looked for ways to do things easier, faster, cheaper, etc.

That also spills into the church world, often in church growth or revitalization. Churches in decline are usually desperate for ways to see numerical or financial growth that are easy, fast, cheap, and so forth. And for good reason. Maybe the church is a few bad weeks from closing its doors or letting someone go. Shortcuts to a turnaround would be a blessing, but we probably all know from experience how shortcuts fall short of lasting change.

But what if we got back to doing the main thing we’re left here on earth to do in a way anyone can, no matter what? What if it was so easy that even a caveman could do it? What if, in the doing, you see lasting, growing change among your people and perhaps an enduring turnaround after a season of decline? I’m talking about evangelism, but not as you’d expect.

Please make sure and watch the George Barna Videos. Please share with your Pastor and all your friends.
