Happy President’s Day!
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Wow, what a snowstorm here in Maine. I am late at posting my prayer today. One thing is for sure, it is morning somewhere around the world.
Today we celebrate President’s Day 2025. We remember our first President of the United States of America, George Washington. Also, Abraham Lincoln is remembered today. We remember all the presidents and we pray for our current president. One thing for sure, we needed God involved in our government back then and we still do today. Let’s be thankful for all the leaders we have had in the past, leaders we have now, and thank him for future leaders. The greatest leader of all times and the founder of both heaven and earth, we celebrate every day. His name is Jesus Christ.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for Presidents Day 2025. Thank you for past Presidents of this great nation. We pray for our current President and ask you God for wisdom and discernment as he leads this nation. We pray for good health and that he would fulfill the purpose and plan he was created for. We pray for his family today and pray a hedge of protection around them.
Father, we pray for our future Presidents. Father, that they will be handpicked by you, oh Lord. We are thankful that you, oh God was the very first founding Father. (Genesis 1)
Father, today we thank you that from Psalm 24 we can rest in knowing that the earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters. That brings the heart great rest knowing that the greatest leader of all times is our God, in whom we put all our trust.
Father, today we lift up our nation before you and thank you for making every crooked path straight. Continue to make America great, oh God. Amen.
