One of the biggest Law Enforcement scandals I have ever seen in my lifetime continues on……..so very, very tragic. Public trust should never be broken.

Got Questions states: Christian ethics is well summarized by Colossians 3:1-6: “Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.” More Here

Colossians 3:23-24

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.

2 Timothy 2:15

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

ABQ RAW:

On Friday, February 14, 2025, the New Mexico State Police announced that they have placed an officer on leave amidst the FBI’s DWI enterprise investigation. The named NMSP officer is Sergeant Toby Lafave.

In June 2024, Lafave placed APD officer Jordan Hernandez under arrest for speeding and DWI.

Following the placement of their officer on leave in connection with the DWI Enterprise Investigation, NMSP Chief Troy Weisler has issued the following statement:

“As a result of the ongoing investigation into allegations of DWI-related racketeering, I have placed New Mexico State Police Sergeant Toby Lafave on administrative leave pending both the FBI’s inquiry and our own internal investigation,” said Chief Weisler of the New Mexico State Police. More Here

  1. I do NOT believe any of these charges against Sgt. LaFave. Not even a little bit. I believe that jealousy, envy and other such ugliness are the real reason for the accusations and “investigations” into Sgt. LaFave. IMHO. I back and support him fully.
