KOB 4 News (Albuquerque, NM) reports that an early morning arson fire occurred at the front entrance of the Republican Party of New Mexico (“RPNM”) headquarters at 5150 San Francisco Road NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico. A suspect has not yet been apprehended.
A RPNM spokesperson stated that the fire was a deliberate attack.
The Albuquerque Fire Department has initiated an arson investigation and no one was injured in the fire.

The RPNM reports on its website that the fire was started early this morning (3/30/2025) at the entryway of the RPNM’s Albuquerque headquarters and was a deliberate act of arson, which also included the spray painting of the words “ICE=KKK” on a wall.
RPNM Chairwoman Amy Barela stated the following, in part:
“We are working closely with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), local law enforcement, and federal investigators. We are committed to providing every piece of evidence necessary to bring those responsible to justice and ensure they are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. We will not allow New Mexico’s broken criminal justice system to dilute the seriousness of this attack. The [RPNM] will not be silenced. We will emerge from this stronger, more united, and more determined to fight for the people of New Mexico and the future of our country.”

My brothers and sisters, needless to say, this sort of criminal act not only destroys property, it is inherently dangerous and could result in injuries or even fatalities. Regardless of one’s personal political views, there should be no condoning arson – period!
Let’s pray that the perpetrator (or perpetrators) are found, prosecuted (as appropriate) and led to repentance for the crime. FGGAM is thankful to God that no one was injured in this criminal act.
Violence is never the answer to political disagreement. The answer to all of life’s problems is knowing Jesus as Lord, and walking in His love and His wisdom!
