It’s posts like this that make me unpopular here. My daddy always told me, “Son, sometimes the truth hurts.” My friend for many years, Pastor Mark Tross, who was with me at KKIM Radio and co-hosted NM News and Views, always told me, “Dewey, you say things others wish they could say.” It is vital that you know your calling from God and walk in it every day. Sadly, many are walking around and not knowing what God has called them to do.

This all just breaks my heart. Are you paying attention folks? Is this the worst Law enforcement scandal you have ever seen? How far does this go back? Some say since 1995. In all my years in news, I have never seen anything like this. It makes me sick when I think of all the damage that has been done. This is what thugs want to see – corrupted law enforcement officers. Huge blow to New Mexico.
I am almost 70. I have worked in radio in Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Indiana and here in New Mexico since 1995. Forty-two (42) years in radio, with the last 12 1/2 years here at FGGAM. It bothers my spirit that there is so much the evil that is present here, such as the killing of God’s babies. The following subject is a touchy one with many Pastors. I believe and have believed for years that God’s judgement is on New Mexico.
A Pastor friend of mine here in Albuquerque shared with me a while back that New Mexico HAS and IS under the judgement of God. I do not think many Pastors want to preach on God’s judgement because it is not what people want to hear. I am here to comfort the inflicted and to inflict the comfortable. Please read my message from yesterday: New Mexico is 2025’s State with the Worst Taxpayer ROI. Will Gail Armstrong Run for Governor?
I am not a politician. I am a Christian, a pastor, and a watchman the wall. A very wise person told me that it is going to get much worse here before it gets better. You see the chaos play out on social media and the TV news like it did yesterday. Lord have mercy!
New Mexico never repents and changes its behavior, it just gets worse here. SUCH SHAME NM!!!! HELLO CHURCH?? New Abortion Center Performing all Trimester Abortions in Albuquerque
The judgment on Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19). God destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah for the rampant wickedness that was taking place in those cities (Genesis 18:20; Ezekiel 16:49-50; Jude 1:7). New Mexico kills God’s babies.
Divine discipline (Hebrews 12:5–11). As a father lovingly corrects his children, so the Lord disciplines His own; that is, He brings His followers to a place of repentance and restoration when they sin. In so doing, He makes a distinction between us and the world: “When we are judged in this way by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be finally condemned with the world” (1 Corinthians 11:32). Whom Christ loves, He chastens (Revelation 3:19).
John Piper:
But what about judgment on nations today? What about America as a whole? Are there biblical pointers to how God deals with nations today?
First, the Bible portrays God as sovereign over the nations and ruling them for his purposes. This includes ethnic peoples as well as the political states that emerge around them: “Kingship belongs to the Lord, and he rules over the nations” (Psalms 22:28).
Second, the Bible portrays God’s relation to nations as tolerating sin up to a point, and then bringing calamity. God said to Abram that his descendants would spend four hundred years in a foreign land as slaves (Genesis 15:13). Then God would “bring judgment on the nation that they serve” (Genesis 15:14). Why such a long delay before God gave the promised land to Israel? God answers, “Because the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete” (Genesis 15:16).
In other words, there was a level of corruption that would be reached among the nations of the promised land that would justify God’s judgment on them when Israel returned from Egypt. So God taught his people not to say, “It is because of my righteousness that the Lord has brought me in to possess this land.” Rather, “it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is driving them out before you” (Deuteronomy 9:4). Is repentance a change of mind or a turning from sin?
