President Donald Trump has promised to personally take care of NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore following their nine-month space fiasco.
During a Friday press briefing, Trump was asked about reports that the pair would receive no overtime pay, to which he replied: “Nobody’s ever mentioned this to me. If I have to, I’ll pay it out of my own pocket. I’ll take care of it.”
Williams and Wilmore were only supposed to spend eight days on the International Space Station (ISS) when they launched aboard Boeing’s Starliner capsule last June (2024), but numerous technical issues meant they only returned on Tuesday, March 19, 2025. More Here
