It seems that every day I wake up and there is more and more violence in America. It’s like a nightmare for this old man. I am very, very concerned people are going to get hurt. We live in America where we cannot agree to disagree, and to have respect for others lives and their property. America is so godless.
Years ago at a wedding, the father of the groom wanted to knock my lights out! YES! TRUE STORY! The father did not like the way his son wanted the ceremony done, so he was going to attack me for that. I gently put my hand on his shoulder, and God’s peace came upon him and the wedding went off perfectly!
There is a way to handle disagreements; do it in the peace of Jesus. “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God” (Matthew 5:9). I should write a book on all my experiences! HA!
I do not always agree with Elon Musk, but there is no reason at all to attack him and his company with such wickedness. My goodness! I was taught to agree to disagree. We are to disagree in a civil manner. I shake my head and think, ‘Oh Lord, so much evil.’
According to Barna Research: America needs ‘spiritual renewal’ as fewer than half of Americans believe God exists
Mr. Musk and his crew just saved our astronauts in an heroic rescue. This should go down as one of the greatest moments in America history, but with so much anger in America, maybe it will not. This is so very sad. What does get the American people’s attention?
The Brief

Billy Graham emphasized that true peacemaking begins with reconciling with God, and that peace with God is essential for having peace with others. He believed that accepting Christ through faith leads to a deep, abiding peace that the world cannot offer.
