I have come to inflict the comfortable and comfort and inflicted… This phrase is the variation of a well-known sentiment associated with journalism.
But no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. James 3:8
America is so very divided, as is the American Church. Lots of prayer going on, but not enough repentance and change of behavior. Change of behavior and a close personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the key to a wonderful life.
Things are going to get even more ugly here if we stay on the road we are presently on. We have turned into such a hateful nation, ruled by politics, and very raw and ugly emotions, not by the ways of JESUS.
Lord Have Mercy! We need the Lord’s Mercy more than ever in America. ‘Lord have Mercy’ is a humble expression of recognizing our own limitations and dependence on God’s grace.
Too many here are trying to get on the throne of God; they think they are God. We must be a humble people. When we say “Lord, have mercy,” we are asking for God to act with compassion and to intervene in our lives, offering healing, comfort and forgiveness.
The concept of God’s mercy is deeply rooted in the Bible, where it’s presented as a core attribute of God’s character. America needs God more than ever. I pray that your Church will dedicate much time this morning, and in the coming days, reflecting on what is happening to America and how to apply God’s Word to our situation.
A Pastor friend told me this week that America is under judgement; it’s right before our eyes. We are a very troubled nation – have been for years and years, and it’s getting worse. The wrath of God is a consequence of human actions that are against God’s will and character. That is America right there. We are a messed up country. We outright commit murder against God’s babies through abortion. Are we Americans foolish enough to think that we will not see, or are already seeing the wrath of God? We are not a invincible.
Americans have made politics a religion. Just 4% of us have a Biblical Worldview. Politics is the playground of Satan. Look where it has gotten us, on the brink of disaster. Even the Church in America is divided on many issues, more and more than ever.

Does your Church teach the Ten Commandments? Do you apply them to your life? Years and years ago, many Churches posted them in their Churches. I do not see them posted anywhere. Do you? Where? I have them right here in my FGGAM office. I strive to apply them to my life every day; they are vital. When is the last time your Pastor preached about them? What are the Ten Commandments?
MUST LISTEN!
