The moment you began praying, a command was given. And now I am here to tell you what it was, for you are very precious to God.
Listen carefully so that you can understand the meaning of your vision.
Daniel 9:23
The very moment you began to pray, a word went out to the Lord. He heard your cry.
I’m surprised by the amount of prayer requests I’ve been getting recently. Some are just wanting jobs or finding homes all the way to people on their deathbeds.
(To God every single prayer is important.)
It’s been a daily occurrence to receive multiple requests a day.
People are in need, some in desperate need of help. This is where you come in.
We must help, because as believers, we hold knowledge of the Holy one.
What we know of God and what we read and study should then be shared with others.
“I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations …,”
Matthew 28:18-19
“I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective for the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ.”
Philemon 1:6
“The more active you are in sharing your faith in Jesus, the more you realize just how much He has done for you, and that every good thing in your life comes from Him. There is real joy in introducing people to Jesus.”
– From Disciple First
We share because we have the Good News of Jesus Christ.
We share because through faith in Christ, those who are hurting and struggling with life, can then find comfort.
We share because it’s a mandate from the Lord.
In 1976 when I came to know the Lord Jesus as my personal savior at the age of 12, it was because of one man, a Pastor. He was persistent and patient with me.
He was not ashamed of the gospel, he was evangelizing in my area, and because of that, many came to the Lord.
This is why I evangelize, this is why I tell many about Jesus Christ, his love, mercy, Grace and peace.
We need a Savior!
Without him we are dead in sin. My brothers and sisters, this should not be so. We have a loving, heavenly, father and all we have to do is call on his name and believe in our heart and He will save us.
This is why we must share the good news with others. We want the them to have the same opportunity we had, that when they face these trials, they are not alone.
And thats where we come in with evangelism!
When we face trials and temptations, heartaches and addictions, and whatever else we may be facing. We don’t have to fear, for the Lord is with us.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.
Psalm 34:19
“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33
We must preach, preach, preach until the whole world knows!
My prayer for you today, if you haven’t already, is to make your first request to the Lord.
He’s waiting.
Many Blessings,
Connie
