The Christian Post reports that Hamas’ struggle to find money to pay its fighters following 500(+) days of war with Israel shows how much the terror group relies on ideology as its primary weapon, says Dominique Hoffman, Associate Director, Philos Leadership Institute – a program which educates Christian professionals about the Holy Land.
As the Wall Street Journal reported last week, senior Hamas fighters and political staff received only half of their pay midway through Ramadan last month. For some Gaza government employees, salary payments have ceased.
Hoffman accused the Biden administration of emboldening Hamas, highlighting the administration’s decision in 2023 to unfreeze $6 billion of Iran’s frozen assets in South Korea, and providing the terrorist organization with funding in the war between Israel and Gaza. For its part, the United States, under President Donald J. Trump, has taken a stark foreign policy shift – one of intolerance for terrorism and Islamism.

My brothers and sisters, only a terrorist organization such as Hamas, and those who support it, could experience the complete failing of its goals and leadership, including the total destruction of its homes, displacement, and the deaths of many of its family members, and yet, in the face of starvation and piles of debris, still find it impossible to see the truth of the situation. Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran and all of the nations and peoples who see Israel as illegitimate and ‘the problem’ are blinded by the evil one.
It is as if the Palestinians choose to see themselves as ‘permanent victims’ instead of persons made in the image and likeness of the one true God – the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob! It is the desire of God for all persons to be saved through faith in Jesus Christ!

God Desires All To Be Saved
“[God our Savior] desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all…”.
What will it take for the Palestinians to say ‘enough’? Ongoing attempts by the Palestinian Authority to take charge over the ashes and rubble, well after the complete destruction of the Gaza Strip’s homes and infrastructure, would be laughable if it were not such a serious situation. This represents the audacity of how Satan has led the Palestinians into a cycle of death and destruction because of their ideology – destroy Israel, no matter what.
As a reminder to all, whoever desires peace must seek Jesus! The Bible tells us that the government will rest upon the shoulder of the Prince of Peace.

The world is suffering from the scourge of evil brought on by the false god of Islam. According to the Bible, Satan is the deceiver of the whole world and he comes to steal, kill and destroy.
