My mentor, Pastor (Rev.) Randall N. Floyd of the Clayton, New Mexico Assemblies of God Church, has allowed FGGAM to publish his comments regarding the recent death of a dear and longtime church member, Connie Blan.

From Pastor Floyd:
I have waited to post anything about this, because I needed time to process it. Last Wednesday, March 26, 2025, my wife, Cindy Collette Floyd, and I lost a very dear person in our lives. Connie Blan left this life that was full of pain and love and friends and family and blessings, etc., and entered the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ – completely healed for all eternity.
Connie was special to us, and her entire church family at Clayton A/G – Church for the REST of Us, because of her unconditional love for Jesus and her willingness to always give her best – even when her body didn’t want to cooperate. She was also one of only two people remaining of the congregation that elected us as pastors just over 20 years ago. Much has happened and changed during that 20 years, but Connie was always there. But no longer. Now she waits for us in the presence of Jesus.
We will gather on Thursday, April 3, 2025, 7:00 PM at Clayton A/G – Church for the REST of Us to celebrate the life of this dear lady. Pray for her children and family as they walk through this journey of both grief and celebration.
The Clayton A/G – Church for the REST of US is located at 1005 S. 1st Street, Clayton, New Mexico.
