Myanmar, Our Prayers Are With You…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. When reading about the earthquake that hit Myanmar 0n March 28, 2025, I wanted us to come together and petition God himself to intervene on behalf of these beautiful people. I must admit I never heard of Myanmar until I was asked to pray for this country. Myanmar is a country in northwest Southeast Asia. It is the largest country by area in Mainland Southeast Asia and has a population of about 55 million people. They have reported loss of lives, and in need of many items during this time of disaster. Clean water, sanitation supplies, food and medical supplies to name a few.
God’s Word tells us to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those that weep. (Romans 12:15) Today the people in Myanmar are still in search for lives under the rubble of devastation that has hit their land and people with this earthquake that was rated a 7.7. They need our help and prayers, let’s ask God what he would have us do today.
Let’s Pray:
Father, our words come hard to pray at times like these, but we know you are faithful to your Word. We petition you this morning and join faith across this world for Myanmar and its beautiful people.
Father, send them help from across this globe we pray. We ask you to meet every need they have and may the God of all hope rest on this part of the world today.
Father, we pray for peace in this country that has been in unrest for many years. Father, we pray the good news of Jesus Christ come to this land by every means possible. May the love of Christ be in action today in the country of Myanmar, we pray. Amen.
