Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.

2 Peter 3:3

Scoff: to speak derisively; mock; jeer or doubt.

They absolutely love to live in darkness. They love the secret things of the dark. They love to live life however they see fit, without any regard for Christ!

“In the last times there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions.”

Jude 1:18

They literally scoff at Christ, the idea of the judgment of Christ, the return of Christ and anything to do with Messiah in any way, shape or form.

They scoff and mock anyone who follows Christ and scoff at those who live their life for him. Finding fault in anything relating to Christ, Christianity or scripture.

They deny the second coming of Christ, and I believe this spirit comes along with anger and unbelief. This makes them more comfortable practicing sin, all the while thinking that they wont give account to God for their sin.

Scripture tells us otherwise:

“For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”

Ecclesiastes 12:14

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”

2 Corinthians 5:10

You won’t give an account for your neighbor, family, or anyone that caused you to sin.

You won’t give an account and blame someone else; However, you will give an account for your own life and actions, so the blame game will finally be over.

For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools.

Romans 1:21&22

There will be great devide amongst many, including family members, but stand firm in Christ and he alone. And do not fear, no matter what! Even if you are standing alone.

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers.

Psalm 1:1

You can see people that were once followers of Christ and were once great evangelists, start to cease in their evangelism and take up other issues out of anger and hate. Thus, forgetting all about fulfilling the Great Commission. 👈🏻This is the great ploy of Satan.

We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ.

2 Corinthians 10:5

Be prepared through the Word of God, through prayer and do not be deceived.

Let’s try to remember that there but for the grace of God, go I.

Many Blessings,

Connie
