The Beginning Of Every Day…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I re-discovered a prayer journal from 2007 recently. I enjoyed reading some of the entries. One particular day caught my attention. Let me share it with you with a favorite song on this beautiful, snowy Monday morning.
My days are filled with peace when anxious thoughts arise. You sent me your Word to speak peace. My days are filled with joy, for you are my strength and joy. My days are filled with many questions, but you, oh Lord, are my wisdom. My days are filled with planning, but you, oh Lord, order my steps. Jesus you are the waymaker, your love for me is beyond what I know today. You turn my sorrow into gladness, my shame into honor, and my suffering into joy. Where you are is where I want to be, in your presence, oh Lord. Teach me to pray. Teach me to prophesy. Teach me Father. I want to fulfill your plan.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for being the center of it all. Almighty God, as we journey life with you, and you with us, help us to see you at work everywhere. Holy Spirit, the third person of the trinity, teach us all things.
Father, you are the highest priority of our day. Show us the people you want to bless through our lives today. Your highest priority was people. You prayed, you taught, and you served. Let our lives reflect yours, we pray. Amen.
